The Austlift Inertia Reel Recovery is a wire rope self retracting lifeline with a built in winch for confined space work. A locking pin switches it between fall arrest mode, which lets the user move freely, and winch mode for retrieving a casualty after a fall. It mounts on a tripod or davit with a bracket and comes in 20m and 30m.

  • High impact strength polymer casing, built to prevent breakage.
  • 4.5mm galvanised steel wire rope, 12kN minimum breaking strength.
  • Rated for 140kg.
  • Swivel anchorage eye stops the rope twisting while working or in a fall.
  • Steel triple action locking swivel snap hook with fall indicator: 21mm gate opening, 23kN minimum breaking strength.
  • Steel triple action locking karabiner: 22mm gate opening, 25kN minimum breaking strength.
  • Two modes: retractable fall arrest mode, and winch mode for retrieval or rescue after a fall.
  • Locking pin on the side of the casing switches between modes.
  • Polymer casing with carry handle.
  • Mounts on the leg of a tripod or davit system with a bracket, sold separately.
  • Conforms to EN 360:2002, EN 1496:2006 Class B and AS/NZS 1891.3.
